Available tonnage of gold and silver

[edit source]

(Posted here until I figure out how and whether to incorporate this into the debate.)

  • gold: 244,000 metric tons[1]
  • silver: 1,740,000 metric tons[2], which is 7.1 times the gold amount

How many bitcoins have been mined

[edit source]

Not sure how relevant/interesting this question is, but anyway:

Over 19,800,000 bitcoins have been mined (Sep 2024)[1][2], out of the possible total of 21,000,000[3]. That amounts to 94% mined.
