It's nice that the emphasis here is not on legal methods to curb copyright infringement but on social ones. (Sam 01:23, 12 September 2006 (UTC))
- Yes, I cringed when I saw that. Plagarism and copyright violation are seperate things; each can occur without the other.--AdamG 19:42, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
- Any objections to putting "Dishonest" in instead of illegal (not everywhere, obviously, but where it would make sense)? As I see it, there are dual constraints on added content: Copyright law, and Academic honesty. The limitations imposed by copyright law should probably be focused on in a "Copyrights" page or the like, while this page (seems to me, anyway) would do best to focus on the procedures for ensuring honesty in Wikiversity's work. --AdamG 19:47, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
- Agreed. And the chart confuses plagiarism with copyright violation; they're not the same thing. The Jade Knight 02:21, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
Fair use[edit source]
The image/page also ignores fair use, which should be included. The Jade Knight 12:11, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
