I removed link to "Are humans the only objects with a "soul" or "ghost"?" for these reasons:

  1. This course is designed (roughly) to map Western philosophical shifts. Starting with Plato, moving onto to epistemology and personal identity, and finishing with language as its central intererests.
  2. The material will be covered in sections on humanity, and discussions over personal identity (e.g. bodily survival after death)
  3. It presupposes a soul for humans.

Line of Reasoning?

[edit source]

What is the direct connection between questions about the objectivity of reality and the sumum bonum and questions of logic and epistemology? I don't quite understand your line of reasoning. Could you please make it clearer. Thank you.
