Metaphor

[edit source]

"The Young Person pauses and looks at the Old Person. A man in a Chewbacca suit runs in front of them, chased by a throng of Star Wars fans in Darth Vader suits." [1]

  • The man in the Chewbacca suit would be a primate (prima + ate -> "assistant teacher effort") but (as a Wookiee) he would be too large for an actual primate, so that would make him a mentor (larger -> riesig {de} -> more reason, higher rank)
  • The people in the Darth Vader suits would be parents with parenting driver's licenses? (Darth Vader -> parent appears to be some kind of Hitler -> parent + (to appear -> scheinen {de} -> Schein {de}) + (Hitler -> Führer) -> Elternführerschein {de} -> parenting driver's license), (suit -> clothing -> constructed, civilized appearance -> educational qualification)
  • The story doesn't tell why the man in the Chewbacca suit runs aways, so the reason is nonexistent or irrelevant.
  • And that is meant to be funny (-> altruistic)? Sure, the mentor needs help and adults with pedagogical qualification hurry towards him (Inversion of chasing him). Consistent metaphor (and stupid, of course).
