Alrighty then![edit source]

My first order of bussiness is to add links to the page, thereby letting people have direct information on Existentialism. Then I will compose a reading list. Does anyone have any ideas to contibute to the Department? (The preceding unsigned comment was added by LogicalFallacy (talkcontribs) 05:34, 6 February 2008)

About that link, "a great essay on existentialism"[edit source]

I just read it through, and it comes across as rather biased in my opinion. Has some good information, but seems to get into some mud-slinging at points, which in some cases I think may mislead readers. An example would be her assertion that existentialists such as Sartre and Nietzsche "completely dropped" morality (failed to discuss it in any sort of constructive way) - I can't recall specific entries in Nietzsche's work, but I read (just a day ago) on the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy about Nietzche's discussion of various forms of morality being suited to different individuals depending on their situation. This is far from utter neglect. I would suggest either removing the link or renaming it to something like "An argument for theistic existentialism as opposed to atheistic existentialism" or "why theistic existentialism is WAY better than atheistic existentialism."
