Talk:Drosophila Sex Determination

From more recent reading concerning sex determination in Drosophila, it has come to my attention that this wiki may be incorrect as there is a new model present for sex determination, which is referred to as the X-counting model.

My point: From my understanding, the proposal of the X-counting model is an alternative to the X:A model for sex determination in Drosophila. This would make this wiki article incorrect and would require revision. If someone can look into this and see if a revision is necessary, it would be great.
