Lfamc (talk) 02:26, 28 March 2012 (UTC)It seems that the results of this study show that the genes found in the Melanesian populations are from three different lineages. However, the results of this study do not state or prove that these lineages are different from the mtDNA found in Africa. Therefore, what is the link between the difference of lineages and the non existence of mitochondrial eve.[reply]
