From what we know from biology, in order for RNA to replicate DNA is needed in order to carry out transcription (RNA duplication). Without DNA, the further processes of protein synthesis which require RNA and DNA would not be able to occur. All life is made of protein so without DNA and RNA working cohesively, life would not exist Sbains (talk) 01:52, 3 October 2012 (UTC).[reply]
