Talk:Controversies in Science/Are humans causing global warming/A critique of Acceleration of global warming due to carbon-cycle feed backs in a coupled climate model

The assumption that CO2 emissions remain constant can be dis-proved by looking back to 1978 when the burning of fossil fuels stopped rising and were relatively constant for about 9 years. The CO2 content in the atmosphere did not remain constant nor was it reduced; it actually increased.[1] In order to accurately predict climate change over the next 100 years, the model would need to take into consideration that the CO2 emissions are always accelerating and do not remain constant. I feel that the model is flawed and would need to be revisited with adjustments. Tlouc287
