Mid-Semester Comments[edit source]

As I'm sure you know, you are not up-to-date on your Wiki. Much of the information from the first few weeks remains in bullet form and needs to be fleshed out. Your citations are incomplete and you note where you found information instead of putting in proper citations.

Your crime data is a little skimpy--you can only say crime rates are common/high by making comparisons to other countries, so you might want to look at some comparative data. I would suggest that instead of googling for random pages that might have data.

You have not included the data on the formation of the legal system and government. Australia is not much like Malaysia, though it does have a common law legal system; I'm not sure what you mean by "a jurisprudence." You might want to review the PowerPoint on the state to ensure you are on the right track here.

Your page is not organized according to the template. That's fine and totally up to you, but you may want to look at the US page and some of your classmates' pages to get a better sense of how other people are doing things. You are welcome to come see me as well to discuss ways to improve your work.

I'd love to give you some more comments, but there just isn't that much on your page yet, so it's hard to say.
