This is a very interesting topic since "pan paniscus" species is so closely related to humans. I would recommend a book called "Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors" by Carl Sagan in which he tries to find the roots of violent nature in humans by studying close primates such as chimpanzees. It is a reference on the topic of ethology and contains citations and bibliography of Jane Goodall and other scientists and studies. It also discusses the subject of chimpanzees being able to learn and use AMESLAN and our incapacity to understand the language of chimpanzees. This will be an interesting project I could collaborate someday. --Davichito 02:31, 13 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
