Pliers

For jewelry or colored rings it is usefull to use pliers without teeth and no sharp edge. This help to do not scratch the rings. Also, some people use pliers with nylon jawed. Look for available replacement nylon jawed. But for string material or with a low gauge wire, teeth are usefull to have more grip on them.
