Gender equality[edit source]

I have already in 1982 (naively) held the view Germany had reached equal rights for men and women, but even 30 years later that is still just the target state, not the actual state. Maybe a reasonable goal would be to measure the percentage of economically active women in comparison to men within the same age group and profession and to give preference to equally qualified women within these age groups when appointing somebody to a vacancy. Of course that would apply only to the procedure following the anonymous application, but what is the point of anonymous applications if the following procedure implements a male gender bias? --Bernhard Fastenrath 13:45, 18 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
