Hello,
Basic kinematics is easily motivated from first principles by calculus. Are we going the route of separating algebra-based physics from calculus-based as two separate courses, or should this lesson plan include both approaches? Hypermorphism 04:26, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I recommend separating algebra-based and calculus-based kinematics. First, the equations of motion are slightly different. Second, algebra-based provides a good introduction to those without a higher-level mathematical background. I would also recommend Vectors & their applications being a separate lesson and differentiaing between 1d, 2d, and 3d motion. -Torris
