STATES OF MATTER[1]

There are three types of matter. They are

1.Solid state

2.Liquid state

3.Gaseous state

SOLID STATE

In solid state, the constituent particles are very closely packed. The force of attraction between the particles is very strong.Solid have definite shape and volume.Solid have high density and cannot be diffused. They are imcompressible. Some of the examples are stone, paper and ring etc .

LIQUID STATE

In liquid state, the constituent particles are less closly packed when comparing with solid. The force of attraction between particles is less strong.Liquid do not have definite shape and definite volume. They are almost incompressible. Some of the examples of liquid are water, thar and soap solution etc.

GASEOUS STATE

In gaseous state, the constituent particles are far apart from each other. The force of attraction between the particles is negligible.Gas do not have definite shape and definite volume. They are highly compressible.
