Scientific method of problem solving is an investigatory approach that has a series of steps used to find answers to questions through observations, questioning and experimenting. It is a method of procedure that has characterized natural science , consisting in systematic observation, measurement, and experiment, and the formulation, testing, and modification of hypotheses. In scientific method the data collected is empirical since the  information is gained through direct observations and experiments and that is one of the advantage of using scientific method. This method helps in systematic and logical approach to discover how things in the universe work. The following are the 6 steps involved in solving a problem scientifically and a person following this can be called as a scientist.

1. Observing

2. Questioning

3. Hypothesizing

4. Experimenting

5. Analyzing

6. Concluding
