HEAT, TEMPERATURE AND TRANSFER OF HEAT:

HEAT: Heat is in the form of energy that is transferred between two substance at different temperatures.The direction of energy flown is from substance higher temperature to lower temperature.Heat is measured in unit of energy,usually calories or joules.

TEMPERATURE: Temperature is the measure of hotness and coldness of matter.temperature is measured in the degree on Celsius.

TRANSFER OF HEAT: Heat energy can be transferred from one body to the other or from one location to other.heat transfer are 3 types: conduction,convection,radiation. CONDUCTION: Heat transfer within a body or from one body to the other.Conduction are usually solid where molecules in the structure are held together. 1.The substance which conducts heat is called conductor,substance like metals,steels,iron. 2.The substance which does not conducts heat is called insulator,substance like wood plastics
