INTRODUCTION
Desert can be classified into very hot and very cold deserts. Here existence is very difficult and the inhabitants here have adopted them to the geographical condition.

Sub-tropical desert
Coastal desert
Cold winter desert
Polar desert
SUB-TROPICAL DESERT
It is very hot and dry where the existence is very hard. This type of deserts are found in Asia, Australia, Africa, North America and South America.
This type of desert has harsh climatic condition. It's hot and dry during summer, cooler and dry during winter with low rainfall and hot air. Evaporation takes place at a faster rate.
COASTAL DESERT
Coastal desert has warm and cool winters. Namib desert in Africa and the Atacama desert in Chile are coastal desert.
COLD WINTER DESERT
Sometimes they are known as semi arid desert. They have dry summer and winters. This type of deserts are found in North America, Russia, North Asia, Europe and Greenland.
The average temperature varies between 0.8 to 1.5 inches.
POLAR DESERT
Polar deserts are cold deserts which are covered with snow with limited moister in the air. They receive annual rainfall between 6-10 inches. This type of deserts are found in poles of the earth, covering much of the Antarctic in the southern hemisphere.
