The speed of sound on earth depends on the temperature. If we work with the absolute temperature ${}T$ (measured in Kelvin), then the relation ${}v=20,06{\sqrt {T}}$ holds, where the speed of sound is measured in ${}m/s$. For ${}T=300K$, the speed of sound is about ${}347,5m/s$.
