South Africa Workshop for Social Entrepreneurship - 2008/Reflections/Zen Garden Activity

Participants were asked to find small objects from their environment to place in a Zen garden on the dinner table, and explain to someone why they chose that object and why they placed in that specific position. The explanation was to be shared at the table by the other person.

• Listening to the explanations was fascinating! The thought that went into such a simple exercise. The diversity of ways of thinking and the degree to which people resonated with each other (... or not ;-).
