Service Dog/Task

From Wikiversity

A Service Dog task or work is defined in USA as a task that is trained rather than instinctive and benefits a person with a disability. This can include mobility aid, bracing against falls, opening doors, helping with medication induced dizziness. In matters of invisible disabilities such as PTSD, episodic events can, like epileptic seizures or diabetic emergencies, be targets of either service dog alerts or service dog responses.
