A school is both an institution for learning, and a way of organising thought. This page is to help distinguish its various usages, including here on Wikiversity.

Wikiversity schools[edit | edit source]

In Wikiversity, the "School:" namespace is a special feature to organize content and activity in Wikiversity. See Wikiversity:Schools for details, or browse for existing schools.

Schools that are outside Wikiversity[edit | edit source]

Schools outside Wikiversity can create their own pages on Wikiversity if they are intended to organise projects rather than advertise the school (see our proposed policy).

If you want to create a new page about a particular school, give the new page a name such as Name of your school and add the category Category:External schools and colleges to the page (For help on this, see Help:Category).

For guidelines and ideas on how schools can use Wikiversity, see Wikiversity:School and university projects
