Rubik's Cube/A Hidden Subgroup

From Wikiversity

I need to write Chapter Eleven. There is a "hidden" sub-group on the cube.

If the central label on each face is marked in some way, so that the four possible (rotational) orientations of that label are made visible, then it is possible that some of the labels have been turned away from their original positions. (Some cubes have pictures, or the digits "1" through "9", so this possibility is obvious.)

So, for this next-to-the-last chapter, I need to solve this part of the puzzle. It will give me a necessary demonstration that my methods really work!
