Respiratory Medicine is a diverse specialty of medicine encompassing the study of the lungs and airways, their anatomy, physiology, and disorders.

Pulmonology is the field of medicine that deals with diseases associated with the lung and respiratory tract. Physicians specialized in this field are called Pulmonologist.
