Let ${}L$ and ${}M$ denote sets. Show that the mapping

$\tau \colon L\times M\longrightarrow M\times L,(x,y)\longmapsto (y,x),$

is a bijective mapping between the product sets

${}L\times M$ and ${}M\times L$.
