Users in this subject area may want to check the free trilingual (English,Spanish and French) web site www.k-12math.info as it provides over 135,000 pieces of information on 1,000 commonly used elementary and secondary school mathematics terms. What grade (or age) a specific concept is likely to be used on helps the developer focus on how to present it in an internet enviroment. Virtual based curriculums can be developed when we understand where and how the existing media uses terms.

It's time to start updating this section of Wikiversity

[edit source]

It's a very good idea to write extensive, thoroughly researched materials on the teaching of primary mathematics here on Wikiversity. Right away, I discover that the structure of the articles here is confusing, as I see both Primary_mathematics here and Primary Mathematics on Wikibooks, both of which with text derived from the same sources and both of which can be confused with this article. I understand the point of this article to be instruction on teaching primary mathematics for teachers of that subject, and will edit this article according. I'll have to figure out gradually how to make unambiguous wikilinks to the closely related projects that don't confuse readers who surf by. -- WeijiBaikeBianji 00:03, 26 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
