Hi, I'm working on the Introduction to Assembly Language page, and would like to cross these two pages. Specifically, I'm looking at an in-depth discussion of each architecture, and then a short tutorial in Assembly Language on that project.

I'm willing to do at least some of the leg work, but right now I'm very busy. I'm primarily familiar with IBM 360/370 (where I learned Assembly at Angelo State University). I plan to move on to the ARM and PPC architectures, at least programatically. However, I figure Computer Architecture might delve more into Digital Electronics of each architecture and the advantages, disadvantages, and tradeoffs made in each architecture. Perhaps also an explanation of the design methodology and technologies used in each architecture would be excellent.

My degree is in CS, but CE might be more appropriate for this kind of information (and probably more than the BS I have!) Mark Roberts 23:25, 8 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think we should move the content of this page to a lession. AFAIK in the Topic: namespace there should only be organization content Schoeberl 15:31, 28 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
