The initiative started in South Africa.
Most of the current activities (2008) are in southern Africa - but we encourage wider participation - either by doing something similar for your region, or joining our discussions and collaborating on activities, projects, etc.
Some of the early thinking on structuring the site (and more specifically the curriculum) are in this document.
