Part of the Wikiversity Department of Marine Engineering, School of Engineering and the Engineering and Technology Portal
Content summary
[edit | edit source]Offshore Engineering applies ocean engineering studies to the engineering of devices within the benthic environment, such as Marine Foundations, Mooring Systems, Ocean Mining, Offshore Disposal, Offshore Pipelines and Cables, Offshore Structures, Submersible Vehicles, Submarine Habitats and Salvage Operations.
Goals
[edit | edit source]To further knowledge of the deep ocean as an engineering environment and to enable the practitioner to effectively design within the parameters of such.
