Multicultural Perspectives on Health and Wellbeing/Growing old in a foreign world
This week we examine the many theories that have been used to explain ageing and health in societies across the globe. Geriatric medicine, gerontology and health policy are described and critical analyses of the key concepts are provided. The culture surrounding ageing in Australia amongst diverse population groups is outlined and examined.
