  2. Comments (n = 5):
    1. "This is my favourite psychology unit so far! The content is really interesting and the assessment is well structured."
    2. "managed to get by without listening to lectures or attending tutorials, however i did the readings."
    3. "I am finding the unit material very interesting, although i am struggling with the readings and can find it hard to follow the lectures as the slides don't always match what is being talked about because the lecturer starts to cover the material from a future slide before we get there"
    4. "lectures are a bit monotone, however on the positive side, lectures always cover the information in great depth. Struggling to use WIkiUniversity effectively because I dont know all the features"
    5. "Lectures seem almost pointless as the assessment quizzes are based entirely off the textbook. James is excellent as usual"

End of semester (n = 24):

  1. Rating
    1. 80% agreed or strongly agreed:
"My learning in this unit will help me achieve my personal, professional or educational goals"
    2. 65% agreed or strongly agreed:
"I made the most of my opportunities to learn in this unit"
    3. 85% agreed or strongly agreed:
"Overall I am satisfied with how the staff in the unit supported my learning"
  2. Comments (n = 10):
    1. "Love the online layout for the major assignment. I think there should more of this kind of assessment through out the entire degree. As this the kind of team work orientated and integrated work conditions, simulate real and future working environments."
    2. "Definitely my favourite psychology class, has been awesome."
    3. "Great dynamic and interesting unit with a very passionate and engaging lecturer"
    4. "This was a completely different unit to everything else I've done in the psych degree, but in a good way! At first the assessment seems daunting, but as James said if you go in with an open mind you'll enjoy it. I agree with this statement and whilst it was tricky at first, the feeling of learning a whole new skill set afterwards is rewarding, something you don't get from most units. I really liked how supportive and involved in our work James was, it made the process so much easier. Thanks James! :)"
    5. "The unit is super interesting. I would only suggest splitting the final assignment with a final exam"
    6. "This unit is excellent in developing skills concerning the different media platforms. This unit convener is intelligent and knowledgeable."
    7. "The assessment need to be different. The social contributions component in the book chapter was completely unnecessary and needs to be changed. It's too time consuming and is difficult to record. The unit would be much better off having an option to do the book chapter but have it work 25% and also do an end of semester exam worth 25%. The book chapter is so broad and there isn't much direction. How do you make a webpage on wikipedia fit to the APA style... The presentation seems like a good idea but again not much direction on the way its presented. I personally excel if I'm told exactly what is required rather than being given any option on how to present."
    8. "All of the assessment tasks are worthwhile, however, I feel as though it is really hard to adequately meet assessment criteria while doing 3 other units. Writing a whole book chapter and expecting to be able to contribute to multiple other chapters throughout the semester just seems too full on. I feel like I cannot contribute to other people's chapter until I finish my own? Doesn't that sound logical? On top of this, there are 17 individual quizzes. Again, this is a crazy amount in my opinion even though I like that each quiz is focussed on a specific chapter. I just struggled to find time to focus on this unit as much as I was expected to given that I have other units as well. I'm sad because I couldn't devote enough of my time on this unit when the assessment tasks are actually really well thought out."
    9. "While the book chapter assignment was great, it would be nice if there was more emphasis on examining the course content. The weekly quizzes actually required a fair bit of studying, and it would've been nice if they were worth more. Maybe dropping the multimedia presentation is a good idea, as then there could be an end of semester exam or similar."
    10. "Hate wikiversity - I don't feel there is a need to learn the technical side of software. Assistance from James was always available, however I still think it is unnecessary."
