Use CTRL + F if you are trying to find an entry, and why it was added. The reason for this is to allow easy finding of things added to the whitelist. It is modelled on the meta spam blacklist log.

Documentation

Adding entries

Log to the relevant dated section without adding empty lines. For requests on the Spam-whitelist talk page, you can use {{/request|0#section_name}} (replacing '0' with the correct oldid shown here). The section name is of course the section of the item that you are whitelisting.

For single entries, write the entry, name, and reason on one line in columns seperated by the '#' symbol. For multiple entries, write your name and reason on one line beginning with " #:", then list the entries on new lines below indented by three.

Example:

entry # admin name # reason
-----------------------------------------------------
fuu\.com # Eagle 101 # spam
fuf\.com # Eagle 101 # request
#: # Eagle 101 # request
  uuf\.com
  ufu\.com
  fuf\.ca
  [fu]{3}\.com

Maintenance

  • To add a new dated section, append the following code.
    === June ===
entry # admin name # reason
-----------------------------------------------------
  • Don't worry about sorting or exact alignment of the # just put it there.
