Protected edit request on 11 December 2025
[edit source]| It is requested that an edit be made to the interface page at MediaWiki:Protectedpagetext. (edit·history·last·links)
This template must be followed by a complete and specific description of the request, so that an editor unfamiliar with the subject matter could complete the requested edit immediately.
Edit requests to fully protected pages should only be used for edits that are either uncontroversial or supported by consensus. If the proposed edit might be controversial, discuss it on the protected page's talk page before using this template. When the request has been completed or denied, please add the |
This template is honestly starting to get really messy. I suggest we replace the code with what's already used on Wikipedia, except for the extendedconfirmed and template-protected messages. This way, we'll only have to modify the difficult code once, instead of once for both protection levels. Wikibooks did the same thing, and prior to that, the message looked visually identical to the one currently used on Wikiversity. Administrator MathXplore has already connected my templates to Wikidata items. 2600 etc (discuss • contribs) 23:12, 11 December 2025 (UTC)
- @2600 etc Please start a discussion at the colloquium should this be updated. I might update those templates to use custodian instead of administrator. Codename Noreste (discuss • contribs) 23:27, 12 May 2026 (UTC)
