What equipment do you need? The basic hardware Built-in microphone If you have a built-in microphone, that is all you need for recording the dialog for your animatic. More advanced hardware - Optional You need a microphone and an audio mixer or audio interface of some kind for your computer. Microphone If you want professional quality for your projects, the microphone must be a professional microphone with an XLR connector.
