Q: What is IT.
A: Information Technology is concerned with the technology to treat information. The acquisition, processing and storage of information by computing and telecommunications are it's main fields. It's new emerging fields are web technologies, bio informatics, cloud computing, global information systems and large scale knowledge-bases. In short, anything that renders data, information or perceived knowledge in any visual format via any multimedia is considered part of IT.
