In this first exercise you have to identify the prefix or suffix. The exercise covers affixes from lessons 2 and 3.

Identify the affix!

In the answers, suffixes start with a hyphen (-be') and prefixes end with a hyphen (jI-).

1 Which verb suffix negates the verb?

2 Which verb suffix is translated by can or able?

3 Which verb suffix is used to form a question?

4 Which verb prefix has subject "I" and is used when there is no object?

5 Which verb prefix has subject "I" and object "him/her/it/them"?


In this exercise you have to pick the subject pronoun or the object pronoun (if any) relevant to the verb prefix. It covers prefixes from lessons 2 and 3.
