Identify steps that we taken in creating new version of course[edit | edit source]

To create the new course we first must follow the following steps.

  1. Identify areas that are lacking in the current version of the course.
  2. Decide what type of interaction to include.
  3. Gather all the elements of the interaction.
  4. Create that interaction.
  5. Publish a new course.

For the above example, here were our specific steps.

  1. Identified that we wanted to create interaction for:
    1. Entering notes.
    2. Adding a new slide.
    3. Adding text and an image to a slide.
  2. Created slides in PowerPoint and imported them into Cativate.
  3. In Captivate we added interactive elements to the imported slides such as text entry boxes and hotspots with popup windows to provide feedback.
  4. We then added it to this page for you to view.

Now you can help create interaction in the Practice section of this course.
