Task-Based Development Schedule


Our task based development schedule includes the creation of scenarios, examples and activities. The overall task is to develop an hour-long instructional module that contributes to achieving the module goal. This module shall consist of at least three self-paced lessons. The key deliverables and deadlines are:

February 27, 2008

  • 1. Produce a design document that meets the criteria in Table 1.
  • 1.1 Describe audience.
  • 1.2 Describe context.
  • 1.3 Describe learning goal(s).
  • 1.4 Describe learning objectives.
  • 1.5 Describe learning experience.
  • 1.6 Create a design document and publish on the Wikiversity site by February 27, 2008.

March 25, 2008

  • 2. Produce a Beta version which is a content complete module that includes all lessons, interfaces, and activities: one which is ready for formative evaluation.
  • 2.1 Design each lesson.
  • 2.2 Design each activity, example and scenario.
  • 2.3 Create a Beta version and publish on the Wikiversity site by March 25, 2008.

April 26, 2008

  • 3. Produce a content complete module that has undergone formative evaluation with at least three members of the target audience.
  • 3.1 Revise/update modules/lessons.
  • 3.2 Conduct formative evaluation with target audience: instructors.
  • 3.3 Compile results.
  • 3.4 Review and prioritize proposed changes.
  • 3.5 Make changes.
  • 3.6 Submit a content complete module and publish on the Wikiversity site by April 26, 2008.
