  This sets up a leading item (note the • in the above) in Small Things lists, linking to Wiktionary item {{{1}}}, displaying the link as {{{2}}}, and {{{3}}} giving the hint.  It is the most versatile leader in making the link completely independent of its display.
  Use STn for a similar trailing item, STi for a leading item when the link is merely to the English part of the Wiktionary item, or STk for a leader to a particular part of the item.

  N.B.  Use STM instead when the item immediately follows a heading so that the otherwise excessive blank space is reduced.
