MU'CRO. The point of any instrument, weapon, or other artificial or natural object which is pointed, jagged, or sharply acuminated; but more especially the point of a sword as opposed to cuspis, the point of a spear. Ov. Met. xii. 485. Cic. Phil. xiv. 3. Virg. Lucan, &c.
