INDU'CULA. An undergarment worn by females; but whether of a general or special nature is uncertain. It certainly belonged to the INDUTUS, and probably meant a small tunic, or chemise. (Plaut. Ep. ii. 2. 41.) Compare Non. s. Regilla, who quotes the same passage, but with the reading Tunciula.
