DIRIBITO'RIUM. A room or building, supposed to have been originally constructed for the diribitores to sort the votes at the Comitia; but subsequently the same place, or a similar one, was set apart for the use of the officers engaged in examining the muster roll of the army, distributing the pay, and assigning the conscripts to their different legions.
