AR'CUMA. A small cart (plaustrum) or truck, in which a single person could be conveyed. (Festus, s. v.) The illustration (Arcuma/1.1), from a sepulchral bas-relief at Rome, agrees so precisely with the definition of Festus as to leave no doubt of its real name.
