ALBA'RIUM or OPUS ALB. (κονίαμα). Stucco or cement, with which brick walls were covered, made out of sandstone, brick, and marble, powdered and ground together for an outside coating; or of gypsum and plaster of Paris, for the finer kinds used in the interior.
