[edit | edit source]Integration of ICT in School Administration - Namirembe Infant Primary School (Musoke B Florences) Introduction ICT is an important element in effectively administering Institutions.It doesn't only keep leaders in controlof the institution management but also provides information to the beneficiaries when they interprete and use knowledge in decision making to meet their goals,prompt feedback which saves time for other things to go on.Therefore the ignorance of ICT integration in school adminstration limits progress in the current error. Objectives Capacity building on how ICT can be integrated/utilised in school adminstration. Stakeholders The School Management Committe,Heads of departments in the school. The scope of the project This project is expected to equip the schoolleadership on the capacity to use ICT write and submit reports,other information to the headteacher for follow up action and feedback. Expected results -Capacity development in application of ICT to school leadership. -Simplified supervision and monitoring. -Effective communication in terms of time. -Prompt feedback (either way) -Acquisition of knowledge -Implementation of acquired knowledge.

Had planned for one set of computers but the School Management Committee authorized for at least three.
Had planned to train at least ten teachers but have included one more since at least five of the trainees were motivated to acquire personal laptops.

Background Zimbabwe is emerging from political, economic and social collapse. The situation in Zimbabwe was like the Great Depression in Europe in the 1930s, a situation of no food,no electricity, no fuel, hyperinflation, violence and the death of constitutionalism.
Objective The objective of this project is to enhance human rights education through the use of cellphones and other digital devices. The community, the children and the nation has to be educated digitally on human rights education.
