Genetics/CD69
Appearance
CD69 (Cluster of Differentiation 69) is a human transmembrane C-Type lectin protein encoded by the CD69 gene. It is one of six genes located in human chromosome region 12p13.31. CD69 is expressed on activated T-cells and B-cells. Its induction stimulates TGF-β1 and TGF-β2 synthesis and down regulates immune response. [1]
