French/Agreement

In French, adjectives change based on the properties of the noun that they modify.
This is called agreement (l'accord).

Dependency on gender

White man - homme blanc
White woman - femme blanche

New bread - nouveau pain
New house - nouvelle maison

Dependency on number

A little chocolate bun - un petit pain au chocolat
Some little chocolate buns - des petits pains au chocolat
