Description Sergeant Paul Nixon, drill instructor, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina, gives a Delayed Entry Program poolee an example of the harassing instructional style to be expected at boot camp. Approximately 400 future Marines gathered May 7, 2005 at Fort Indian Town Gap, Pennsylvania, for Recruiting Station Harrisburg’s Annual Future Marine Challenge, an event meant to familiarize the future Marines with boot camp.
