Electrotechnology is used to describe the physics of electrical circuits, electromagnetism and corresponding application in both electrical engineering and electronic engineering.

Electrotechnology can encompass specialisms such as; Electrical engineering, Electronic engineering, Instrumentation engineering, Telecommunication engineering, and Computer engineering.
