Hello, World[edit | edit source]

I had this conversation with ChatGPT today on how people abusing AI chat systems should be addressed:

As evidenced by my journal being here, I signed up for Wikiversity and Wikiedu.

Sample Journal[edit | edit source]

Hello again.

September 6th, 2023[edit | edit source]

I completed a Wikipedia article evaluation regarding the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). It was incredibly strange going from the article, which is presented neutrally and matter-of-fact, to the Talk page, where there is a list of people that have apparently been paid by the ADL to edit the article for them. I suppose the changes they made were caught and reverted to maintain neutrality.

I originally planned to use this article for edit training, but given the nature of the topic, it has an edit lock on it. Because of this, I instead used the article Maniac (Michael Sembello song) for this exercise. The artist Carpenter Brut created a cover of the song that is listed on his Wikipedia page, but not that of the song. I decided this was a good opportunity to try adding a citation.

It was removed. I suppose it wasn't notable enough.

It took ChatGPT an embarrassing 5 tries to even get close to listing the track list for Carpenter Brut's "Trilogy" correctly, despite the fact that the entire album was released for free on YouTube with the track list in the description.

I had this discussion with ChatGPT regarding Moore's Law and its eventual end:

I also discussed potential topics for my own Wikipedia article:

I had a discussion with ChatGPT about my idea for a new Wikipedia article regarding the artist Mega Drive:

I selected three different articles for my main contributions to Wikipedia, as detailed here:

I had a discussion with ChatGPT about the nature of literacy in the modern era:

I decided that I wanted to mainly contribute to three separate articles: Hotline Miami 2, Bloons TD 6, and Mitch Murder.

Given that Mitch Murder's article is the shortest, I asked ChatGPT about information regarding him to see if I could expand on the article:
